Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architecture Manager to manage and optimize our Azure cloud infrastructure. This role involves leading a team of senior cloud infrastructure engineers and collaborating with various departments to support our cloud initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment of Azure cloud reference architecture, ensuring adherence to best practices and security policies. Collaborate with departments for seamless integration and operation of cloud services. Manage the operation and maintenance of the cloud environment for multiple Azure tenants.
Team Management and Azure Cloud Infrastructure Operationalization: Manage a team of cloud architects to operationalize Azure cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Program Development: Lead the development and implementation of an IaC program using tools like Terraform and Ansible. Integrate IaC practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
Cost Management: Monitor Azure costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to reduce expenses. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure designs, configurations, and processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance performance and efficiency. Help to develop strategies to measure performance of the team and processes.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, Azure infrastructure engineering, and system administration and support.
Leadership: Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with peers and lead a team to drive tangible results.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and achieve goals without constant supervision. Proactive in identifying and addressing challenges.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud architecture, network design, and security best practices. Understanding of DevSecOps principles. Ability to code in Terraform, PowerShell, and Python. Expertise in Linux and Windows system administration.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Advanced certifications in cloud technologies desired.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
Knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, and GitHub.
Understanding of cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure.
