Manager, Treasury Operations:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager, Treasury to join our growing team in Stamford, CT.
Reporting into the SVP, Treasury, the Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of treasury operations and ensuring effective cash management practices across the organization. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing banking relationships, and implementing cash management systems.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with a strong understanding of treasury operations and financial management principles.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and monitor the input of payments into the financial system to ensure accuracy.
Implement efficient cash management practices to optimize the company's liquidity position.
Review cash flow forecasts, monitoring daily cash balances.
Work cross-functionally with the AP team to review payment requests and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Conduct periodic reviews of AP processes to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline operations.
Oversee the process of opening and closing bank accounts, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Monitor the overall status of bank account balances, reviewing fund transfers, and reconciliation of bank statement.
Manage signature authorities and ensure proper documentation for authorized signatories.
Oversee the KYC process for new and existing banking relationships.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to obtain necessary documentation for KYC compliance.
Oversee online banking requests: including adding or removing users, setting up payment templates, and managing access controls.
Manage the opening of escrow accounts in accordance with legal and contractual requirements.
Supervise the issuance and management of letters of credit, including tracking and reviewing related documentation.
Review banking-related expenses for ongoing projects and provide necessary financial information to project teams.
Research, identify and implement the appropriate cash management system
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, evaluate vendor proposals, and oversee the implementation process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or CTP certification is a plus).
7 years of experience in treasury management or a similar role is required
Strong knowledge of financial management principles and cash management practices.
Proficiency in using treasury management systems and online banking platforms.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to banking and treasury operations.
