What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oil and Gas Valuation Senior Associate position at NorthMark Strategies LLC?
Location: This role requires 5 days a week in office (Houston) and very infrequent travel.
Objective: The objective of this role is to provide timely and insightful valuations and investment reporting to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate has the experience to operate with a high degree of autonomy, the ability to collaborate with other teams, and the desire to build/enhance capabilities related to valuation analysis and performance reporting.
- Lead the monthly investor reporting process for O&G assets providing valuation support, return calculations, benchmarking and other performance measurement insights
- Create and update investor presentations to aid in reporting process
- Value upstream O&G assets / reserves using DCF analysis and transactions/peer company multiples
- Analyze portfolio level risk exposure and hedging strategies
- Interface with portfolio companies and internal teams (investments, accounting, finance, tax, and treasury) in data gathering and analysis
- Manage and act as key point of contact for the annual 3rd-party valuation process for administration of LTIP plans
- Provide valuation related support to FP&A team for the AOP and multi-year planning processes
- Be a motivated self-starter that can provide cross-functional support across all aspects of investment management
