As an Animal Care Attendant at NorthPaws Veterinary Center, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting in the care and treatment of animals. This role is vital in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standards of animal health and welfare.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians in examinations and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Handle and restrain animals safely during procedures.
- Conduct laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Provide compassionate care to animals during their visit.
- Instrument sterilization
- Inventory stocking
- Responsible for general housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with animal care is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary terminology.
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
