Job Summary
NorthPoint apartments are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. NorthPoint is a BYU-Idaho approved housing complex.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. In this position, one is responsible for helping the maintenance manager with maintenance functions. Preventive maintenance; performing routine maintenance. Maintenance technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the complexes and inside the apartments.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Execute mechanical repairs on machinery and equipment, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of equipment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with welding is a plus but not required.
- Strong customer service
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
This is a full time position and the hours would be Monday through Friday. Pay depends on experience. You are required to work during our black out dates (the breaks in-between the BYU-Idaho semesters.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
