Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Make Ready/Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering quality service. This role is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of residential properties under our management.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on residential properties.
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants in a timely manner.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues.
- Perform carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs as needed.
- Ensure properties are in excellent condition before new tenants move in.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report issues to management.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and property owners.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in residential maintenance or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general home repair.
- Certifications (Preferred): HVAC certification, EPA certification, or other relevant credentials.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
