Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and presentations.
- Provide individualized support and mentoring to students based on their unique learning needs.
- Utilize effective communication techniques to maintain open lines of dialogue with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Incorporate diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Stay current with educational trends and best practices in teaching methodologies.
- Proofread and edit student work to enhance literacy skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Experience in mentoring students or leading extracurricular activities is a plus.
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies is highly desirable.
