What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Teacher position at NorthPoint Christian Academy?
NorthPoint Christian Academy is looking for highly qualified educators to teach in our expanding middle school grades(5-8) for the 2025-2026 school year. These candidates should be certified or working toward certification and have a passion for growing students. As a NorthPoint educator, you will be responsible for delivering high quality instruction and teach Bible Devotion daily. Your goal will be to build strong relationships with all students that will allow them to grow both academically and spiritually.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Manage classroom dynamics to create a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through testing and provide feedback.
- Foster literacy and critical thinking skills through diverse instructional methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practices.
- Support students' individual learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance.
Qualifications
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Proven experience in teaching and working with middle school students
- Proficiency in literacy education and curriculum development
- Excellent communication and proofreading abilities
- Familiarity with assessment and instructional design
- Knowledge of special education practices and learning technology
