What You’ll Do
- Change Lives: Provide individual and group therapy to adolescents in PHP and IOP settings.
- Collaborate with a Supportive Team: Work closely with psychiatrists, case managers, and families to create personalized care plans.
- Embrace Trauma-Informed Care: Help young people heal from trauma and build resilience for a brighter future.
- Bring Your Passion: Facilitate group therapy, school-based interventions, and family support with creativity and empathy.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Provide counseling, assessments and group facilitation to individuals and families
- Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge
- Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality client care
- Provide orientation and education to clients, families and others to aid in the therapeutic process
- Collaborate with assigned clients in the development of written treatment plans; include client and family involvement in assessment, treatment, education and discharge planning
- Monitor clients on an ongoing basis to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment and interventions
- Document clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, diagnostic summaries, and progress charting in a timely manner to assure comprehensive and quality client care
- Actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and maintain effective working relationships with employees and peers
- Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all times
- Oversee and participate in the quality assurance and compliance activities of the facility
- Provide clinical updates to utilization review and representatives of managed care to best coordinate reimbursement of treatment services
- Coordinate with community based providers and referral sources to ensure optimal levels of care and treatment outcomes, post discharge
- Case staffing and individual case supervision
- Facilitate individual and group therapy
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures and standards of care
- Other clinically appropriate services and special projects as assigned
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Licensed in Washington State (LPC, LICSW, LICWA, LMHC, LMHCA, or LMFT)
- Familiarity with trauma-informed and evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, or TF-CBT.
