NorthPointe Christian Schools is an independent Christian school formed in 1972 serving over 1,300 preschool through high school students from over 120 churches. POSITION SUMMARY
NorthPointe Christian's Admissions Coordinator leads, manages and evaluates the student enrollment process – from inquiry through admissions to assimilation into the school's culture. Along with process management, the position provides creative oversight, in keeping with the school's mission, to draw, enroll and retain mission-appropriate students. This individual must be a strong advocate of Christian education and will be responsible for sharing the NorthPointe Christian story with prospective families. This role will primarily focus on processing middle and high school families (75%) but will also include supporting and collaborating with the Preschool and Elementary Admissions Coordinator (25%).
The Admissions Coordinator is a key employee who actively engages in NorthPointe Christian’s mission of “Equipping students to impact their world for Jesus Christ.”
This position is 30 hours per week, year round.
NPC EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the School’s Foundational Statements and mission through word and deed.
- Participate in a minimum of two “mission-building” activities throughout the school year. Examples include, but are not limited to, serving as a discipleship group leader, participating in a chapel service, assisting in Elementary School Bible study, leading or participating in a prayer or worship event, sharing a testimony or words of encouragement to a class or group of students, coaching, or assisting a student with a faith-based project.
- Follow safety protocols for areas where students can be and how to secure the building.
- Be punctual in reporting to work and while at work.
- Follow protocols in the employee handbook and respect decisions made by leadership.
- Maintain confidentiality of all matters pertaining to students, employees, and donors as outlined in NPC’s Confidentiality Agreement.
