Enterprise Applications Lead

Northramp, LLC
Reston, VA Full Time
POSTED ON 4/16/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/16/2025

Northramp is seeking a mission-driven and results-oriented Enterprise Applications Lead to support federal agencies in modernizing and consolidating their enterprise application portfolios. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience deploying, managing, and integrating enterprise systems across business domains such as finance, HR, and portfolio/program management. This role is critical to helping our clients streamline their operations, reduce complexity, and deliver impactful digital transformation outcomes.

As an Enterprise Applications Lead, you will partner with business and IT stakeholders to assess current-state systems, develop enterprise consolidation strategies, and implement solutions that align with mission needs and regulatory frameworks. You will guide efforts to unify legacy and siloed systems into modern, centralized platforms—supporting activities ranging from tool selection and configuration to data migration and user adoption

At Northramp, you will play a key role in shaping enterprise IT modernization efforts that directly support federal missions. You'll lead cross-functional teams, collaborate closely with government leaders, and deliver thoughtful, practical solutions that enable long-term success.

We are currently looking for an Enterprise Applications Lead who will:

  • Lead Application Consolidation and Modernization: Design and drive strategies to consolidate disparate enterprise systems—particularly across finance, HR, and portfolio management—into unified platforms that reduce redundancy and improve service delivery.
  • Partner Across Business and Technical Domains: Engage with executive, business, and IT stakeholders to align application solutions with agency objectives, mission priorities, and governance models.
  • Develop and Execute Digital Transformation Roadmaps: Assess current application environments and design future-state architectures with a clear, actionable path to implementation, migration, and optimization.
  • Support Enterprise Platform Selection and Deployment: Provide guidance on selecting and configuring tools such as ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms, ensuring proper integration and scalability.
  • Ensure Enterprise Integration and Data Continuity: Design and oversee integration strategies that ensure seamless data flow across systems while minimizing duplication and disruption to business operations.
  • Drive Change Management and User Adoption: Support the development of communication plans, training programs, and stakeholder engagement strategies to promote successful adoption and long-term platform sustainability.
  • Lead Agile and Modular Implementation: Promote scalable and flexible delivery models—such as Agile, SAFe, or modular rollout strategies—to ensure rapid value realization while managing risk.

Additionally, the ideal candidate can:

  • Translate business needs into enterprise system requirements and architectural plans.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and drive decision-making.
  • Create and maintain executive briefings, system documentation, and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and platform configuration sessions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 7 years of experience managing or leading enterprise application portfolios in federal environments.
  • Demonstrated success consolidating enterprise applications across HR, finance, and portfolio/program domains.
  • Hands-on experience deploying, integrating, and optimizing platforms such as ServiceNow, Oracle, SAP, or Workday.
  • Familiarity with federal business processes, data governance, and shared services strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead digital transformation initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday).
  • PMP, ITIL, or SAFe certification.
  • Experience delivering projects in Agile or hybrid environments.
  • Prior experience working with enterprise architecture teams, PMOs, or OCIO offices.
  • Familiarity with federal modernization initiatives or technology business management (TBM) frameworks.
