Business Development & Technical Lead – North America

This is a dual-role position in North America :

Lead the early adopter launch and commercialisation of AuraCyt™ and Celledonia™.
Support and run experimental trials of the technology.

The role is customer-facing, responsible for maintaining and expanding business with current collaborators while establishing relationships with new customers. A key focus is nurturing, growing, and securing a business pipeline by identifying and formalising trials and novel collaboration partnerships.

The Business Development Lead in North America will play a significant role in shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy for the region. This will involve identifying market needs and trends through analysis and client interactions. Attendance at conferences, congresses, and industry events will be required as needed. Travel across North America is expected.

This role combines business development with technical expertise, including presenting and demonstrating new technology, providing customer support, and troubleshooting equipment issues as part of a multidisciplinary bioscience and engineering team.

Key Responsibilities :

Proactively identify and promote new business opportunities in North America.

Organise and host multi-client events such as webinars, seminars, and lunch-and-learn sessions.

Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing field support and engagement.

Serve as a technical expert, translating customer challenges into actionable requirements for internal teams (bioscience, engineering, analytics, quality assurance).

Address customer issues after implementation, coordinating with sales, business development, and leadership to qualify opportunities and develop solutions.

Contribute to and help execute the regional go-to-market strategy.

Participate in collaborator projects to generate biologically relevant data demonstrating the technology’s capabilities.

Produce key documentation related to client projects, including statements of work and quality documentation.

Analyse, summarise, and present data in various formats (presentations, reports, etc.).

Balance remote meetings with up to 70% travel to client sites and industry events.

Uphold company values by demonstrating leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to innovation.
