Job Summary
Imagine what teaching could be if you could teach the way you always wanted! We are looking for educators to join our team that caters primarily to homeschool families looking to supplement their children's education. We offer subject based classes 3x a week with our teachers designing and delivering project-based units throughout the school year in 6 week rotations.
Outside of classes, our teachers provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in-person or virtually.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate 6 week units
- Foster a positive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere for all students.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- School related experience is preferred
- Ability to create engaging classroom activities that promote learning and exploration
