Responsibilities
- The Cardiovascular Technologist will play a crucial role in assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions
- Perform a variety of cardiovascular tests and procedures, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress tests, and echocardiograms
- Set up and operate diagnostic equipment to monitor and record cardiac and vascular activities of patients
- Collaborate with physicians to obtain and interpret cardiovascular test results
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
- Monitor and assess patients for any adverse reactions during cardiovascular testing.
Qualifications
- Minimum two-year degree or equivalent in physiology, anatomy, physics, mathematics, and electronics required.
- Must have a minimum of one year experience performing all cardiac and/or vascular procedures and Cardiac Cath Lab monitoring capabilities.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Cardiopulmonary Technology required (provide documentation)
- ARDMS
- AHA BLS
- Fire Safety Card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)
