Certification Details BLS CST Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced CVOR Tech for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience. Job Requirements Hold an active BLS certification. Hold a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification. Schedule Information 11a-730p Mon-Fri Heart call 2 weekends a month. Unit Specific Information Techs must have BLS and they must be certified. Additional Details Must be able to do both CV and Regular OR cases. Unit : OR / CVOR suites : 12 suites for general OR, 1 suite (CVOR), and 1 hybrid room. of cases per day : 14 cases per day on average. Common types of cases : Regular OR - ortho (total joints), gyn, urology, trauma surgeries, candidates must have trauma, ortho, and general experience, ENT, general, some plastics, vascular, neuro, robotics (Da Vinci) etc they do not do transplants. CVOR - open heart, valves, thoracotomy, trauma, etc.
