The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience. Job Requirements 2 years of experience required Active BLS certification Active ACLS certification Active NIHSS certification Active California License Schedule Information Contract length : 13 weeks Shifts : 12 hr shifts 0645-1915, 1845-0715 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holidays : Yes 1 major, one minor for both winter and summer holidays Additional Details Unit : 3G CVU - Telemetry and cardio vascular unit beds : 30 beds Ratios : 4 : 1 EMR : Cerner power chart Charge Nurse : Yes - they do not take a patient assignment Nurse Aides : Yes- 1 : 12 OR MORE Tele : Monitors GE SpaceLabs Do nurses read strips : Yes Drips : cardizem, amiodarone, nitro, bumex, lasix, dopamine, dobutamine, all non-titrating except for cardizem - titrated up to 15 mcg / min Vents : No Hospitalist or Intensivist in house : Yes IV Team : No RT 24 / 7 : Yes Pharmacy 24 / 7 : Yes Floating : They will be required to float to any MS or Tele, if ICU experience they will float there Floor specific orientation : 2-3 shifts on unit Common diagnosis / Types of patients : regular telemetry patients TR bands, renal failure and other telemetry stable patients Additional Notes : 2 years of experience or more is required, travel experience preferred; EOW First to Float
