As a Loan Officer, you’ll be a key player in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial loans, helping businesses grow, and ensuring the bank’s assets are well-maintained. You’ll be a trusted partner for customers, working closely to support their financial goals and providing exceptional service.

What You'll Do:

• Business Development: Drive new business by cultivating relationships with loan clients and referring them to other areas of the bank for additional services.

• Loan Evaluation: Review loan requests, conduct in-depth financial analysis, and make timely recommendations for approval or denial.

• Customer Relationship Management: Monitor loan performance, ensure compliance with agreements, and assist with restructuring loans if needed.

• SBA, USDA, & BIA Loans: Originate, manage, and service government-guaranteed loans, guiding clients through the entire process from application to approval.

• Community Engagement: Represent Northrim Bank at various community events, trade shows, and more, building relationships and promoting the bank’s services.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 3 years of progressively responsible work in a financial institution with direct lending experience.

• Sales & Account Management: You’re a skilled communicator, with the ability to engage with clients, identify their needs, and propose the right solutions.

• Analytical Skills: A sharp eye for detail and strong financial analysis skills. You can interpret complex data and make sound decisions.

• Tech Savvy: Proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technology.
