Position Summary:As a Teller, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling everything from basic transactions to more complex requests. What You'll Be Doing:
- Handle Transactions: Perform a variety of paying and receiving transactions, both simple and complex, all while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Customer Support: Resolve customer inquiries and issues, managing their experience to ensure satisfaction. You'll be the friendly face they can trust!
- Educate and Advise: Help customers explore and understand Northrim Bank’s products and services. Look for opportunities to cross-sell and strengthen relationships.
- Balance & Protect: Carefully manage cash and currency, following security guidelines and balancing your drawer at the end of the day.
- Stay Sharp: Complete all required training and ensure you're up to speed on compliance, operational procedures, and any changes in policies.
- Be a Team Player: Whether it’s helping a colleague or pitching in on special projects, you’ll always be ready to assist wherever needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- Experience: Customer service or cash-handling experience is a plus. If you've worked in a bank or a financial institution before, we’d love to hear from you! Military experience? We value that too!
- Communication Skills: You’re a pro at talking to people! Whether it's resolving an issue or explaining our services, you do it with confidence and professionalism.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is key when handling money. You’re meticulous and know how to stay organized.
- Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to use office equipment like printers and fax machines.
