We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic People Team (HR) Intern to assist with various HR functions and operations. As a People Team Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, training, onboarding, and HR administration. You will collaborate with the People Team to ensure smooth operations and a positive workplace culture.
Must be in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area as this internship requires an in-office presence at our downtown Minneapolis office location.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week; May 27th, 2025 – August 15th, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and following up with candidates.
- Onboarding Assistance: Help prepare onboarding materials, assist with new employee orientation, and track the onboarding process.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain employee files and databases, ensuring data is up to date and accurate.
- Training and Development: Support the organization with training sessions, PowerPoint decks, workshops, and employee development initiatives.
- HR Documentation: Assist in drafting and preparing HR policies, notices, and reports.
- Employee Engagement: Help organize employee events, surveys, and feedback sessions to promote a positive workplace culture.
- HR Projects: Participate in People Team related projects, such as performance management, employee surveys, or wellness programs.
- General Administration: Provide administrative support to the People Team, including filing, managing HR correspondence, and answering employee inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in HR.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Positive attitude, eager to learn, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Our Compensation & Benefits
