Job Description Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Production Planner Level 3/ Level 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Tooling organization working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment. For the B-21 program, the selected candidate plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to specific portion of the product for guidance of production workers. Plans detail operations from digital models, blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other design releases. Determines the need for tooling and makes recommendations for the design and planning of required tools. Coordinates with Tooling Engineering to create/maintain work instructions, visual aids and bill of material in digital environment. Ensures product requirement defined within released documents is correctly documented within work instructions and ERP system. We seek Production Planners that use a unique skill set that includes a hands-on approach supporting Manufacturing Planning & Systems home room within the Aeronautics sector. This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80 1st Shift Level 3
Basic Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
* Active in-scope DOD Secret security clearance that has been granted / renewed within the past 5 years
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program AccessLevel 4

* High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.
* Active in-scope DOD Secret security clearance that has been granted / renewed within the past 5 years
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program AccessPreferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
* Must have the ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership
* Experience working with Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
* Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Bill of Materials (BOM)
* Special Program Access Salary Range: $59,400 USD - $99,000 USD Salary Range 2: $70,700 USD - $117,800 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
