Summary/Objective |
The Clinical Standards Manager oversees the clinical training provided to Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, and other clinical support staff in ambulatory settings. This manager is accountable for delivering clinical education to guarantee high-quality patient care is provided across all NorthShore Health Center patients. The manager collaborates closely with the risk management and clinical operations team to ensure the highest quality care is provided in each encounter. The manager consults with a diverse group of stakeholders to identify needs and design educational programming to train staff across NorthShore Health Centers. The Clinical Standards Manager develops, implements, and evaluates training programs related to new employee onboarding, annual competency assessments, clinical professional development, and other topics as required. |

Preferred Experience Requirements |
Two years of experience working within a healthcare setting. |

Minimum Education Requirements |
Bachelor’s degree in business, or healthcare related studies |

Master's degree in business, leadership, or healthcare related studies. |

Physical Requirements |
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods, work longer than eight (8) hour shifts, and to work both day/evening/weekend shifts. Work may include hand dexterity as well as the need to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.
