Northshore Technical Community College is a leading institution in technical education, and we are looking for an experienced instructor to join our team as a Drafting and Design Adjunct Instructor. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering drawing and design, as well as four years of work experience in the drafting and design field.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form, follow instructions accurately, and maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials. They will also be skilled in classroom technology, including computer skills, projectors, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Teach quality educational programs in engineering drawing and design
- Communicate effectively with adult learners and staff, faculty, and students
- Maintain effective working relationships and provide excellent customer service
- Plan, organize, and instruct educational programs that meet the needs of our students
Requirements:
- Associate Degree or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university in Engineering Drawing and Design, Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Four years' work experience in the drafting and design field
- Skills in classroom technology, including computer skills, projectors, etc.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally
