As a Drafting and Design Adjunct Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in their future careers.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering drawing and design, as well as four years of work experience in the drafting and design field. They will be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form, follow instructions accurately, and maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach quality educational programs in engineering drawing and design
- Communicate effectively with adult learners and staff, faculty, and students
- Maintain effective working relationships and provide excellent customer service
- Plan, organize, and instruct educational programs that meet the needs of our students
Requirements:
- Associate Degree or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university in Engineering Drawing and Design, Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Four years' work experience in the drafting and design field
- Skills in classroom technology, including computer skills, projectors, etc.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally
