Hourly Pay Range:
$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.- Position: CT Technologist II
- Location: Swedish Hospital
- Full Time - 40 hours/week
- Hours: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 9:30pm
- On Call: Rotating Weekend
- Required Travel: No
What you will need:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate from Accredited Radiology Program or Associate in Applied Science
Registered Radiologic Technologist.
ARRT RT,andIEMALicensure required. If crossed trained into CT you have 1 year to pass the ARRT CT registry.
Current CPR certification with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
Good communication and organization skills are required.
Knowledge of CT procedures and cross section anatomy.
Ability to perform all CT examinations.

JOB SUMMARY
Performs all Computed Tomography (CT) examination on patients as requested by referring physicians.
Checks patient charts for needed exams and tests.
Follows department protocol for preparation of exams that requires oral and intra-venous contrast materials.
Prepares patient for exams and transfer patient to CT scan table.
Accurately performs all CT scan examinations on all patients per radiologist protocol.
Documents all patient histories and lab results for radiologist interpretation.
Scans all documents into PACS. Check PACS after exam is completed.
Assists in scheduling and related clerical duties.
Responsible for maintaining and approving radiation protection and safety as it relates to patients, staff and equipment.
Cleans and maintains room/equipment.
Stocks linen and supplies as needed.
Performs any QA or phantom testing as required.
Pursues continuing education in professional practice.
Performs emergency call as needed.
