Position Highlights:
Position: Exercise Physiologist
Hourly Pay Range: $23.00 - 39.92
The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Location: Elmhurst
Part Time
Hours: 6a to 6p Monday - Friday
What you will need:
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in an exercise science or a related field (e.g. Kinesiology or Physical Education). Emphasis in exercise physiology preferred.
No previous experience required but preferred.
Certifications:
Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (Preferred)
General Summary:
Develops, organizes and conducts individualized exercise programs for cardiac patients to improve cardiovascular fitness and encourage home-based exercise continuation. In doing so, develops exercise programs based on participants' needs, arranges logistics of classes, conducts programs and classes, monitors participant during programs, and provides participants with educational material.
