Position Highlights:

Position: MRI Technologist II
Hourly Pay Range: $32.00 - $54.79. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $33.35 - $54.79 base pay hourly rate beginning May 2025 paychecks.
Location: Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, IL
Possible Floating Locations: Elmhurst Center for Health, Addison and Lombard
Full Time, 40 hours weekly
Hours: 2-10:30pm and 1130am-8pm, rotating on-call schedule, weekends. Holidays are on-call only.
What you will do:
Operates MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam.Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice.Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
What you will need:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred
Certifications:
At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology), or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certification.
Current CPR certification (BLS) issued the by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience:
Previous MRI experience, required
Strong computer skills
Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
Advanced techniques including cardiac and functional neuro protocols, preferred
