Position Highlights :
Position : Radiology Tech II
Hourly Pay Range : $29.68 - $46.00. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Location : Swedish Hospital - Chicago, IL.
Part Time : Per Diem
Hours : Hours vary upon the need of the department
General Summary :
Reporting to the Director of Radiology / Imaging with accountability to the manager and under the direction of the surgeons and the radiologists performs surgical diagnostic procedure in surgery, as needed, and other diagnostic x-ray procedures; trains and supervises students in the Surgery Department area.
What you will need :
Education : Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
Certification : Current ARRT registration with certification in Radiography and Illinois Emergency Management Agency, Dept of Nuclear Safety accreditation required,Current CPR certification required.
Experience : One year experience as a general radiographer with operating room experience or an NCH student Radiologic Technologist graduate with 3 months experience in surgery / OR required.
Unique or Preferred Skills : Knowledge of and / or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
