PositionHighlights:
- Position:Ultrasound Technologist
- Hourly Pay Range: $33.35-51.69. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
- Location: Skokie Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time 40 hours
- Hours: Day hours
- Call: 6-8 calls per month
What you will do:
- Perform ultrasound exam
- Prepare patients for exam: obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort
- Interprets ultrasound
- Cleans and maintains equipment
- Schedules patients if necessary
What you will need:
- License:N/A
- Education:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- Certification:CPR-BLS required. Completion offormal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required. Registry eligible required; prefer Registered Ultra sonographer
