Position Highlights :

  • Position : Physician Assistant - Vascular Surgery
  • Location : Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, IL
  • Full Time / Part Time : Full-Time, 40 hours per week
  • Hours : (4) 10-hour weekday shifts between 6 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 00 p.m. or 8 : 00 a.m. - 6 : 00 p.m. (staggered shifts). Q5 weekends and rotating holidays.
  • Required Travel : Evanston Hospital

What you will need :

  • License : Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Illinois required. DEA & Illinois Controlled Substance License required.
  • Education : Bachelor degree required; Master degree preferred.
  • Certification : CPR certification required
  • Experience : One year of Physician Assistant experience preferred.
  • Skills : N / A

    • What you will do :

  • Position covers inpatient, hospitalized surgical patients on the vascular surgery service.
  • Performs 1st and 2nd assist duties in the operating room, including suturing, post op wound care, and managing infections.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients specific to their area of expertise.
  • Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
  • Performs independent evaluation and treatment procedures in emergency situations in accordance with policies established
