What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oil Lube Technician position at Northside Automotive?
Northside Automotive has positions available for an experienced and thorough Oil & Lube Technician for our service department. We are looking for a highly organized professional who takes pride in his or her work.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of work experience
Valid vehicle operators license
Other Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be reliable.
- Must be team oriented and maintain a positive attitude.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
- State inspection is a plus but not required.
Oil & Lube Technician Primary Responsibilities:
- Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications
- Topping off other fluids, including power steering and windshield wiper fluid
- Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues and consulting with technicians to address vehicle issue
- Rotate and reprogram tires, checking pressure and filling with air as needed to manufacturer specifications
- Installing various parts such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers, batteries and simple bulbs
- Lubricating steering and suspension
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
