Role Overview :
We are seeking dynamic and passionate History Teachers for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Successful candidates will play a vital role in delivering high-quality history instruction, creating an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere, and contributing significantly to the academic growth of our students.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement engaging and challenging lessons in history, aligning with the school's comprehensive history curriculum.
Inspire an appreciation for historical understanding, critical thinking, and a love for the subject among students.
Tailor instruction to cater to the diverse needs of students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Employ various assessment strategies to gauge student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Collaborate proactively with colleagues to enhance and develop instructional practices within the history department.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, supporting their academic development.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, History Education, or a related field.
State certification in Secondary History Education.
Proficient knowledge of history content, coupled with a genuine passion for teaching the subject.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
Experience :
Previous teaching experience at the high school level is advantageous but not mandatory.
Familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies and the integration of technology in history education.
