LOWER SCHOOL MUSIC TEACHER Full Time Kennesaw, GA FY 2025-2026

Northwest Classical Academy seeks a full-time Lower School Music Teacher for 3rd through 6th grade. Teachers are responsible for the education of their students. They are expected to demonstrate high moral character and have mastery of the subjects they teach. Teachers will work collaboratively to create a working and learning environment for all students that is safe, secure, and respectful. This position would report to the Lower School Principal on Northwest Classical Academy's Kennesaw campus. This position starts July 2025.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Adhere to the school's mission and the principles of classical education
• Plan and execute lessons according to NCA's classical curriculum and pedagogy, guiding students to acquire skills in music and to enjoy, appreciate, and interpret music in their daily lives
• Encourage and promote the coordination of music with other subject areas in the curriculum
• Evaluate student performance in music, maintain grade books in Infinite Campus, and communicate proactively with parents
• Assist the Director of Fine Arts in inventorying, organizing, ordering, and caring for music materials and equipment
• Assist in planning, preparing, and presenting programs and festivals for the school
