Job Title : Outside Sprinter Sales Consultant

SUMMARY
Expands Mercedes-Benz of San Antonio’s Sprinter Van fleet presence in the small business and fleet markets. Responsible for developing new client relationships, nurturing existing accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service while representing the prestige and quality of Mercedes-Benz.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Proactively identifies and pursues sales opportunities with small businesses and large national fleet customers.
- Conducts on-site visits, presentations, and consultations to understand client needs and recommend the best Sprinter Van solutions.
- Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with business clients.
- Negotiates pricing, financing, and terms to close deals within dealership guidelines.
- Explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
- Collaborates with the dealership’s sales, marketing, parts & service teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Stays informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new Mercedes-Benz products.
- Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws, which govern retail automobile sales.
- Meets and exceeds realistic monthly, quarterly & annual sales goals.
- Assists in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions.
- Completes required all manufacturer’s training in a timely manner.
- Attends managers meetings as requested.
- Maintains professional appearance.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This positions has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
One year commercial automotive sales experience and / or one year contractor / vendor sales experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factors, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
