**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Basketball Coach to join my team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for basketball and working with students, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills on and off the court.
Must be certified to teach in Texas. No Health, Physical Education, or Speech positions are available.
**Duties:**
- Teach at the High School with Texas certification or enrolled in alternative teaching program in Texas
- Plan and conduct basketball training sessions
- Teach fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense
- Develop practice drills and strategies to improve players' performance
- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their abilities
- Organize and oversee team practices and games
- Foster a positive and supportive team environment
- Monitor player progress and adjust coaching techniques as needed
**Experience:**
- Knowledge of basketball rules, strategies, and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of varying skill levels
- Previous coaching experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques

Pay: $62,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
