About the job
We are seeking a highly skilled UI / UX & Digital Designer who can both develop strategic design direction AND execute day-to-day design work across our digital platforms. This is a hands-on role where you will be both the strategic design leader and primary designer responsible for execution. You'll personally create designs for our eCommerce website, marketing materials, emails, and digital content while also establishing and maintaining our design standards and processes. As part of a global team, you'll collaborate closely with in-house content manager, development and design teams across multiple time zones.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Establish and evolve our design system and visual language
- Define UX standards and best practices
- Create and maintain our design process and workflows
- Partner with product and engineering teams globally to define design requirements
- Provide design recommendations to support business objectives
- Set quality standards for all design deliverables
- Collaborate effectively with overseas development teams
Hands-on Design Execution
Website UI / UX (30% of time)
Personally design and deliver all website interfaces and componentsCreate user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockupsDesign responsive layouts for desktop and mobileBuild and maintain Ul component libraryUpdate and improve both account-based and public user experiences per analyticsEmail & Marketing Design (20% of time)
Design and build all marketing email templatesCreate email layouts that work across email clients & devicesDesign digital marketing assets for various campaignsProduce landing pages and promotional materialsCreate banner ads, social media and blog graphicsVideo & Motion Graphics (20 % of time)
Create quick-turn social media and product videos using tools like CapCut, Canva, or WaveDesign and produce simple motion graphicsEdit video content for marketing campaignsCapture basic product video footage as neededBrand & Visual Design (10% of time)
Design and produce brand assets, collateral, literature and graphicsPolice branding guidelines and asset usageDigital Asset Management (10% of time)
DAM system super admin with day-to-day DAM support, QC naming conventions and metadata, asset revisions, and access controls / user permissions, monitor & report on DAM usageCreate and maintain DAM guidelines and documentationRequired Qualifications
3 years of hands-on design experience with proven ability to both strategize AND executeStrong portfolio showing personally executed work across web, email, and marketing design (required)Expert-level skills in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) with ability to create production-ready designsExperience with HubSpot's design tools and email editor, proven experience designing and implementing email templates in HubSpotExperience with digital asset management systems (Canto experience a plus)Understanding of metadata standards and digital asset organizationExperience with quick-turn video editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Wave, or similar)Demonstrated experience as sole designer responsible for all design deliverablesStrong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlinesExperience working directly with developers to implement designsProven track record of maintaining high quality while working quicklyExcellent communication skills to explain design decisions and gather requirementsAbility to work effectively with global teams across different time zonesComfort with occasional early morning or evening meetings to collaborate with overseas teamsPreferred Qualifications
HubSpot certification(s)Experience with HubSpot's marketing automation and campaign toolsExperience with Canto or similar enterprise DAM platformsSome photography and videography skillsExperience working with overseas development teamsKnowledge of B2B eCommerce designExperience with Shopify or other eCommerce platformsTools & Technologies

You should be comfortable switching between high-level planning and detailed execution throughout each day while effectively collaborating with team members around the world.
