Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)
● This position requires a high level of independent clinical thinking, great organizational skills and staff development, recruiting, coaching and hiring working with HR, finance/billing and development departments.
● Creating a sense of community and team among program staff and clients.
● Overseeing treatment plans and supporting client progress toward goals. The treatment director will sign all ITP’s once the client and mental health professional have signed. ● Hiring and training staff.
● Managing team performance and program staffing schedules.
● Provide guidance to staff by evaluating client development plans and making recommendations.
● Facilitating clinical supervision meetings.
● Consulting on solutions for confidential or highly sensitive projects.
● Managing program budgets and ensuring financial protocols are followed.
● Partnering with senior leaders to analyze legislation, regulations or rule changes that may impact service.
Required Skills and Experience: (Minimum requirements in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications, or other knowledge skills and abilities)
● Master's degree in behavioral science.
● One year (2,000 hours) of full-time experience in human services.
● Previous experience in staff training.
● Experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness is required.
