Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IRTS Program Director to oversee the operation of our intensive residential services. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating rehabilitative services, as well as providing staff direction, education, and consultative guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct the operation of rehabilitative services, ensuring high-quality care for recipients.
- Provide staff direction, education, and consultative guidance to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans.
- Create a sense of community and team among program staff and recipients, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Oversee diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and recipient progress toward goals, making recommendations for improvement.
- Hire, train, and manage staff, including evaluating team performance and managing staffing schedules.
- Facilitate clinical supervision meetings and provide guidance on recipient development plans.
- Consult on solutions for confidential or highly sensitive projects, ensuring compliance with governing bodies.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in behavior science.
- Three years (4,000 hours) of full-time experience in human services.
- Expertise in 245I, MDH, and all governing bodies relevant to IRTS and Northstar Behavioral Health.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing services to individuals with mental illnesses.
