Job Summary:
The Golf Shop Agent – The Golf Shop Agent will focus on day-to-day golf shop operations, including guest reservations and guest service needs. Operating computer POS systems. Northstar Golf delivers exceptional guest and employee service. Successful candidates will have or the ability to learn golf knowledge, excellent customer service skills, outgoing personality, engaging work demeanor, and the ability to multi-task and problem-solve on the fly. This position is a great opportunity for someone passionate about golf and wanting a career in the golf industry.
Job Specifications:
- Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.35 / hour
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full-Time
- Skill Level: Entry
Job Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls politely and in a timely manner.
- Assisting with guest reservations by phone and through the website.
- Informing guests of all offerings and guiding guests as needed. Operating computer tee sheet and POS system(s).
- Cleanliness of Pro Shop and all communal areas for guests/employees.
- Ability to work all shifts, including opening, mid, and closing work shifts.
- Flexibility and ability to cross-train to assist Starter/Marshals and Outside Service when needed.
- Merchandising and cleanliness of Pro Shop.
- Accomplishing daily SOPs.
Job Qualifications:
- Knowledge or ability to learn course operations.
- Exceptional service with both guests and employees.
- Strong computer and written/verbal communication skills.
- Retail and/or merchandising experience.
The expected pay range is $20.00 - $21.35. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
