What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at Northstar Construction Services, LLC?
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team! You will oversee project scheduling and implementation. You will perform trade work where necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of onsite construction project for commercial restaurant construction.
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Perform various trade work onsite as a working superintendent
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management or other related construction fields
- Strong leadership qualities
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Travel is required as we are a commercial contractor specializing in restaurant construction (Wendy's, Pizza Hut, Sonic, etc.) all over the United States. The bulk of our work is currently scheduled in the mid-west, but we have been known to work from coast to coast.
Health Insurance benefits available after 90 days employment. Simple IRA contributions after 6 months employment. Per diem, vehicle allowance, and cell phone allowance in addition to salary.
Salary : $1,200 - $1,500
