What We’re Looking For
Northstar Construction Services (NCS) is now hiring an experienced General Superintendent. Do you want to be in control of your own destiny because you work harder and smarter than most people? Are you a serious, direct, and analytical person comfortable taking the lead? Are you great at translating big picture goals into specific action steps? Selected candidate would be expected to step right into multiple NCS projects and manage Superintendents activity, detail, quality, resources and timeline all for an excellent outcome. Selected candidate will be expected to position both NCS and our clients for success. Finally selected candidate will be expected to utilize all challenges as opportunities to grow and learn to the benefit of NCS.
Who You Will Be Working With
Northstar Construction Services (NCS) is a full-service commercial construction company including Design Build, General Contracting and Construction Management. NCS has experience and specializes in Development, Design-Build, Construction and Remodeling specifically in the area of Restaurants and light Industrial. With offices now in Houston and San Antonio, we are continuing to grow quarter after quarter and looking for a few key team members that are serious and highly reliable to help us continue our rapid rate of growth. The right candidate for the position will:
- Have 5 years commercial construction experience and multiple years of experience in restaurant finish-out and ground-up experience as a Sr. or General Superintendent.
- Embrace the challenges associated with, and excel in, a fast paced construction environment.
- Tech-Savvy, using ProCore and other digital communication tools including Teams, Zoom, etc. while on the go
- Will be extremely skilled in communicating complex and difficult issues to an internal and external team
- Enjoy dealing with clients, trade partners, and enjoys solving problems and building relationships
- Be capable of and willing to maximize value and minimize cost
- Have a “Can do” and "Whatever it takes" attitude
- Focus on Solutions
- Possess a High level of integrity
