Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to coordinate schedules and resources effectively.
- Utilize construction management software, including Prolog and ProCore, to track project progress and maintain documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Enforce OSHA regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Manage the workflow of construction activities, addressing any issues that arise promptly to minimize delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients regarding project updates and changes.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising construction projects with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Prolog and ProCore is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for workplace safety.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills coupled with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
