This is a 6-month accelerated training program with Northstar Healthcare. Once successfully completed you will get both a CNA certification and also to have a role at one of our facilities as a CNA
In this role, you will provide personal care to residents and patients within a skilled nursing facility. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides care ensuring patient/resident safety
- Contributes to the overall quality and safe care for patients
- Takes vital signs and monitors behavior and physical condition for progress or deterioration.
- Applies & releases restraints, and provides exercise
- Removes bedding and replaces with clean linens per schedule or condition
- Displays proper use and care of lift equipment
- Contributes to safety and quality care by relaying information
- Attends classes and clinical rotations as determined by the program
- Recognizes and reports signs/symptoms of abuse and/or change in condition
- Communicates clearly with instructors, associates, and patients.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
