You will work closely with field management to enhance site-based safety and compliance, manage our insurance portfolio, and develop strategies to ensure business continuity. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our reputation and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze relevant data.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with field management to improve safety and compliance.
- Review and enhance risk management policies and protocols.
- Implement effective risk management solutions, including insurance and safety policies.
- Manage insurance coverage and claims.
- Prepare and oversee the risk management budget.
- Evaluate facilities and rolling stock, ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are in place.
- Develop and deliver training programs to minimize risks.
- Collaborate with Legal, CFO, HR, and field management teams.
- Present risk reports and proposals to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a risk management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in a multi-site service organization is a plus.
Travel: This position requires 50% travel, including overnight stays.
