Schedule: Monday Friday, 9am-6pm

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to integrating faith-based teachings into daily activities. This role involves caring for children, implementing curriculum, fostering social-emotional development, and maintaining a nurturing and structured classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, loving, and Christ-centered classroom environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate, faith-based curriculum that meets educational and developmental standards.
• Foster spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth through interactive learning and play.
• Integrate biblical principles and prayer into daily classroom activities.
• Supervise and engage with children to promote positive behavior and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress, concerns, and milestones.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting learning space.
• Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and licensing regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience working with children in a structured childcare setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Abeka and/or Learning Beyond Paper.
