Pay: $12-$16 per hour

As a part-time or substitute teacher, you will play an important role in supporting classroom learning and ensuring continuity in the childrens education.
Position Summary
We are looking for a caring, flexible, and faith-driven individual to serve as a Part-Time or Substitute Childcare Teacher. This role involves supporting daily classroom activities, implementing age-appropriate lessons, and providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Whether covering for an absent teacher or working regular part-time hours, you will engage young learners with hands-on activities and reinforce biblical principles in daily lessons.
Responsibilities
Create a safe, loving, and Christ-centered classroom environment
Implement and support faith-based, age-appropriate curriculum
Encourage spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth through interactive learning and play
Integrate biblical principles, prayer, and Christian values into daily activities
Supervise and engage with children to promote positive behavior and development
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment
Adhere to school policies, safety procedures, and state licensing regulations
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as needed
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED required (Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus)
Experience working with children in a structured childcare setting preferred
Strong understanding of child development and classroom management
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Abeka and/or Learning Beyond Paper curriculum
Prior experience as a teacher, substitute teacher, or childcare provider
