Maintenance & Facilities Position: Southern Campus includes Shakopee and Chaska

Maintenance & Facilities Position Job Type: Full-time with benefits

Maintenance & Facilities Position Job Responsibilities:

Building/Grounds Maintenance

Complete and/or coordinate all maintenance tasks

Ensure that basic necessities such as power, water, heating, and cooling are well maintained & operating

Scheduling and supervision of completion & quality of work by vendors and contractors

Work with Program Director to review and manage service contracts

Conduct & document facility inspections including those require by regulatory agencies

Ensure facility meets all regulatory guidelines

Coordination with housekeeping to maintain and ensure cleanliness of facility according to company policy & procedure.

Complete & review security and emergency procedures, with Program Director

Oversee building projects, renovations, and refurbishments

Forecast, allocate, and supervise the financial & physical resources of facility management as required, in conjunction with Program Director

Supervise grounds or maintenance staff when applicable

Ensure quality of work of direct reports is performed directly, efficiently, and effectively

Technology Support

Assist in the design and implementation of network and operations systems as needed.

Acts as Level 1 and Level 2 support

Assist with coordination of contracted services as needed

Maintain phone, internet, and office equipment operations

Investigate and evaluate technology enhancements as requested

Conduct self in a service orientated, professional manner, that supports the mission, values, and philosophy of NorthStar Regional.

Maintain & support a safe work environment for all employees

Qualifications:

Organized, task oriented and self-directed

Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team in a positive and cooperative fashion

Consent to background check and be cleared by DHS to work within a human services program

Freedom from chemical use problems for at least 1 years preceding hiring.

Physical Requirements: This job is physically demanding and may require standing, sitting, lifting, kneeling, crouching for long periods of time. This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds continually, climb ladders, and work in inclement weather conditions, as well as be on call at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,123.00 - $71,101.00 per year
