Direct Placement : Full-time Permanent PositionJob Description The primary responsibilities of the Environmental Inspector include : Performing SWPPP inspections for projects with stormwater permit authorizationReporting and documenting any noncompliance events and their resolutionManaging your own schedule and communicating it clearly to the client and project managerBeing responsible for meeting standards of quality and meeting internal deadlinesTaking ownership of assignments and seeing them through to completionImplementing field assignments in accordance with health, safety and quality control requirementsMaintaining a professional image while interacting with clientsQualifications Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university in Civil Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field40-hour HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refreshersStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in MS Word Office Suite ProductsAbility to travel to project sites, as neededDetail-oriented with paperwork and submittalsCorrectly fill out a field notebook, photography documentation, health and safety audit forms, etc.Attend and / or lead a health and safety daily meetingCollect soil and water samples, complete paperwork, and transport to a laboratoryAbility to calibrate and operate field meters (e.g., pH) and record resultsInspect stormwater best management practices (BMPs) and report findingsAdditional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
