Office Administrator – Plastic Recycling Company

Location: Waukegan, IL

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Starting $18.50-19.50/hr

About Us:

We are a leading plastic recycling company dedicated to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our daily operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
  • Handle basic HR functions, including maintaining employee records and assisting with onboarding
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks such as recording transactions and expense tracking,
  • Prepare and organize documents, financial reports, and correspondence
  • Perform data entry and maintain spreadsheets in Excel
  • Assist with general office management and administrative tasks
  • Support management with special projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in office administration, bookkeeping, or HR support preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage) is a plus
  • Bilingual (English,Spanish)
