Job Summary :
Provides direct nursing care to patients and supervises the LPNs and Nursing Assistants.

Performs thorough admission assessment of patient.Develops a plan of care for the patient based on assessment data and implements admission care (e.g., evaluates chart, administers medication).Informs patient about routine care and procedures related to the perioperative experience.Confirm patient name, DOB, intended procedure, surgical siteEnsure responsible adult escort available prior to admissionEstablish safe physical environmentSecures signed surgical consent, witness as appropriateReview admission criteria per center policy / procedureObtain H&P. Required
