Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pool Manager to oversee the daily operations of our swimming facility. From Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The ideal candidate will ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests while maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the pool area. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for guest services, and a commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily pool operations, including staff management and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including water quality testing and maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed, ensuring the safety of all patrons.
- Oversee pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring a clean and inviting environment.
- Train and mentor lifeguards and other staff on safety protocols and guest service standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, maintenance schedules, and staff training.
Skills
- Proficient in first aid and CPR certification; lifeguard certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to handle various customer interactions effectively.
- Ability to swim proficiently and demonstrate swimming techniques when necessary.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks associated with pool maintenance equipment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing daily operations.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, guests, and management.
